Nothing is more demoralizing than getting killed by an enemy and then getting an advertisement to purchase the camo they eliminated you with in the KillCam.
Implementing microtransactions has always been controversial in Call of Duty and that hasn’t changed with Black Ops 6. For example, players slammed the “despicable” TMNT crossover event because purchasing every operator bundle cost $80 USD total or $20 apiece.
In addition, players urged the devs to nerf the “pay-to-win” T-800 Terminator skin because it is challenging to spot players who wear it due to visibility issues.

Fans questioned how ethical it is to lock XP behind a “gross” paywall, and those same types of questions emerged after discovering a wishlist feature during the KillCam.
CoD content creator NerosCinema revealed, “Something I just found out yesterday (since I never watch killcams) is you can wishlist bundles that other people kill you with, right from the killcams themselves.”

CoD content creator Futives noted that this was also a feature in the Modern Warfare 2019 beta, though developers removed it when the game officially launched.
“Yeah, it’s over. They’re making too much money off of the easily manipulated,” one player responded.
“Call of Duty is no longer a game and more so a vehicle to sell microtransactions,” a second user added.
Black Ops 6 players confused by bizarre “pay-to-lose” Operator skin

Despite most comments opposing it, some players claimed they actually like the feature for what it offers.
“I’ve bought so many bundles with this feature. It’s so convenient and genius.”
Yet, the overwhelming opinion argues that this has no place in Call of Duty and that promoting microtransactions doesn’t help improve anything.
